The private resort on the south coast was designed for closing deals that couldn’t be discussed in conventional offices. As protocol dictated in front of the auditing team and the assistants, Smart and Boom checked into two separate suites on the twelfth floor. However, Boom's suite went unused the first night: as soon as the elevator doors closed, Smart grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to his own room, where they devoured each other between the sheets until dawn, right before the first round of negotiations.
The real problem began at noon on the second day, during the introductory lunch.
Phukhao, the young heir to the investment fund, didn't hide his interest for a single minute. From the moment he shook Boom's hand in the private lounge overlooking the sea, his eyes locked onto him with an attention that completely exceeded the professional. Every technical detail Boom presented was met with languid smiles from Phukhao, who poured him wine from his own bottle and looked for any excuse to lean into his space while reviewing the contract's annexes.
Smart, sitting directly across from them in an impeccable suit with his pen motionless between his fingers, maintained an expression so icy and a jaw so clenched that the tension at the table became almost unbreathable for the lawyers present.
The breaking point came at nightfall.
At eight o'clock, Smart returned to his suite expecting Boom to come up shortly after to review their strategy for the final signing the next morning. Nine o'clock passed. Then ten.
Smart picked up the phone and dialed Boom's number. The call rang twice before being cut off and sent straight to voicemail. He gritted his teeth and dialed again ten minutes later: a busy tone, rejected instantly.
His blood began to boil with a deafening fury. He left his room, crossed the carpeted hallway, and pounded on the door of Boom's suite. Absolute silence. No one answered.
Smart went down to the main lobby with a demeanor so dark that the receptionist on duty immediately stood at attention upon seeing him approach the counter.
"The guest in suite 1204, Mr. Raveewit," Smart said in a low, measured, and sharp voice. "Did he leave a message or his key?"
The employee checked the screen, visibly nervous.
"No, Mr. Chisanupong. Mr. Raveewit left the resort around eight-thirty in a private vehicle. He was with Mr. Phukhao. They mentioned they were going to have dinner at the east bay."
Smart didn't reply. He turned on his heel without a single word and returned to the elevator.
That night, Smart didn't sleep a wink. He stood by the floor-to-ceiling window of his suite, holding an untouched glass of liquor, watching the tropical rain crash against the glass as the digital clock struck one, two-thirty, four in the morning. Every hour was a blow of pure rage, imagining Phukhao invading Boom's space and Boom deliberately ignoring his calls.
At five-thirty in the morning, with the sky barely lightening in shades of gray, Smart crossed the hallway like a contained storm. He reached Boom's door and rapped his knuckles against it, sharp and forceful. After a few seconds, the mechanism of the deadbolt was heard giving way.
Boom opened the door, dressed in a black silk robe, his hair messy and his eyes half-closed from exhaustion.
"Smart... what time is it?" Boom murmured in a hoarse voice, barely processing the silhouette in front of him.
Smart didn't answer. He pushed the door open forcefully, stepped into the room, grabbed Boom's arm in an iron grip before he could react, and pulled him out into the hallway, dragging him in silence to his own suite. He shoved him inside, slammed the door violently, and engaged the double lock with a definitive click.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Boom demanded, instantly wide awake from being yanked, rubbing his wrist in annoyance. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Where the fuck were you last night?" Smart snapped, his voice rough from lack of sleep and a volcanic fury in his eyes, closing the distance until he cornered him against the entryway wall.
Boom lifted his chin, recovering his defiant posture in a second.
"I went to dinner with Phukhao to secure the terms of the international distribution. It was a business dinner, Smart."
"You hung up on my calls!" Smart said, pinning him against the wall with his own body. "I saw the way he looked at you all afternoon. And you went off alone with him until dawn while I was waiting here."
"I don't have to answer to you for how I close deals," Boom retorted, his breathing growing heavier at the proximity as he pinned him with a haughty glare. "If I didn't answer, it's because I was securing capital that you almost ruined with your outbursts at the table. You don't own me, Chisanupong."
"You think not?" Smart growled, his jaw tense to the breaking point.
Before Boom could fire back another retort, Smart gripped the back of his neck forcefully and crashed his mouth against his with a blind, possessive violence.
There was not a single trace of gentleness. It was a kiss loaded with unbridled jealousy; Smart bit Boom's lower lip until he drew out a muffled moan, using his full weight to pin him against the wall as his hands ripped away the belt of the silk robe and tore it wide open, exposing Boom's warm torso and bare legs.
Boom tried to push him away with his palms against his shoulders out of pure pride, but Smart's contained fury didn't yield a millimeter. Smart trapped both of Boom's wrists in a single hand and pinned them above his head against the cold wall, moving his mouth voraciously down to his neck, his throat, and his collarbone, sucking and biting with rough marks that burned and reddened the skin instantly.
"Tell me again that you aren't mine," Smart demanded against his ear, panting with rage before lifting him by the thighs and throwing him onto the bed.
Boom fell on his back, his chest rising and falling violently, his lips swollen, and his eyes gleaming between indignation and a runaway arousal he could no longer contain.
"Prove it, then," Boom provoked through gritted teeth, spreading his legs with a broken, defiant smile.
Smart yanked off his pants and shirt and threw himself over him.
Without giving him time to process it, Smart gripped his hips firmly, lifting his pelvis and pushing his way inside with a single, deep thrust, relentless and uncompromising. Boom arched his back suddenly, letting out a hoarse, ragged moan that echoed throughout the room as his fingers dug fiercely into Smart's tense arms.
The rhythm Smart imposed was devastating, driven by the fury accumulated throughout a sleepless night. Every thrust was heavy, deep, and possessive, seeking to dismantle Boom's pride and strip him of all control. The wooden headboard slammed with rhythmic force against the wall, accompanied by the thick, wet sound of their bodies colliding relentlessly.
Boom didn't back down; he wrapped his legs around Smart's waist, pulling him tightly against him and digging his nails into his sweaty back, leaving red marks as his hips moved to meet every impact, moaning against Smart's neck with a mixture of pain, rage, and overflowing pleasure.
Smart gripped his jaw with one hand, forcing Boom to look him in the eyes amid the frantic momentum.
"Look at me, Boom. Who is here with you?" Smart demanded, his voice broken and rough from the effort, accelerating the pace until it became almost suffocating.
"You... damn it, Smart... you," Boom moaned, his voice completely undone, squeezing his eyes shut as a wave of intense spasms rushed through his stomach.
The climax hit them almost simultaneously, dragging them into an abyss of raw sensations. Boom arched with one last muffled cry against the pillows, shuddering from head to toe as his body tensed completely, and Smart let out a deep, guttural growl, burying himself to the hilt one last time before spilling inside him with an intensity that left him trembling over his body.
Silence fell over the suite once again, thick and heavy with the suffocating heat of their breathing.
Smart remained lying against Boom's sweaty chest for several minutes, feeling both of their racing heartbeats begin to slowly decelerate. With heavy movements, Smart sat up slowly, running a hand through his sweat-soaked hair as he observed Boom lying on the bed, his skin flushed, clear marks on his hips and neck, and his gaze still clouded with exhaustion.
Smart stood up and walked toward the bathroom. He paused for a second in the doorway, his back marked by Boom's scratches, and looked at the wall clock: it was exactly two hours until the final meeting with Phukhao.
"Get dressed," he said in a rough, deep voice, without looking at him, though the warning was lethal. "And make sure you wear a shirt that covers you up to the neck. I don't want that idiot seeing a single mark on you."
